So, What’s Going On Here?

Free Puerto Rico is a publication of essays, columns, op-eds, musings, and other assorted writing from, well, me: Puerto Rican independence activist Alberto Medina.

In these virtual pages, you’ll find commentary about colonialism in Puerto Rico, the island’s relationship with the United States, and the ongoing struggle for Puerto Rico’s political sovereignty.

Most of the writing in Free Puerto Rico and will remain so. The topic is too important to hide behind a paywall. But if you find it interesting and valuable, I encourage you to subscribe and support this work with as much or as little as you can.
